The SIMTRACK towable rail is chiefly designed to be towed laterally by either tractor or other track vehicles. It is most commonly used for chute guides where the end of the chute rail is required to be bridged temporarilary to the coarse proper rail. It comes in 6 meter lengths that join together. Up to 100 meter sections can be created and towed at once. The towable rails simple design allows it to be put together quickly and easily. Back bar urethane end plugs ensure no damage is done to turf during the towing procedure. An alternate option is WHEELABLE RAIL.
The SIMTRACK wheelable rail is a cost effective alternative to towable rail where it is more beneficial to have temporary rail wheeled into and out of position during a race. It is most commonly used for chute guides where the end of the chute rail is required to be bridged temporarily to the coarse proper rail. It comes in 6 meter lengths that join together. An unlimited number of sections can be linked, restricted only by time and staff to reposition it. Lightweight turf friendly wheels ensure no damage is done to the track. Stainless Steel ground securing hooks ensure rail stays in its position, and are easily removed when repositioning is required. This product is particularly advantageous where vehicle access is limited or difficult to tow rails on and off the track.
The SIMTRACK double rail is a cost effective way to rail both inside and outside tracks at once. It utilises the standard SIMTRACK rail and erection method, but with an additional small attachment that allows rail to be installed on the other side of the post as well. This saves on time having to erect additional posts and loosing precious track width when required to rail both sides of a joining track. The finished result is an extremely smooth looking , yet effective railing option.
The SIMTRACK public fenced rail is used where the public spectators come into close contact with rail when viewing a race. Its an additional fence that backs onto SIMTRACK standard rail to stop people leaning onto and damaging the track rail. The mesh type fence also stops anybody from crawling under the rail and crossing the track at inappropriate points. With a heavy galvanised coating it's built to last in any weather condition. The fence simply attaches to the top of the post by an additional bracket, and is secured at the bottom by two sets of clips which are tek screwed into the post itself. A very effective and cost efficient method to fence off track areas.
On tracks where a plinth is required, SIMTRACK can accommodate in a variety of ways. Posts can be made longer to allow for the plinth so no height is lost from rail to ground. Plinth clamps are available which hold the timbers and posts together. Also additional pins can be supplied to 'pin' the timber into place between posts if the plinth has not been buried to avoid the timer spreading out over time. As well as this SIMTRACK is able to customise its rail product in a variety of ways to suit specific needs of individual tracks.
